Schmid Auction Company is a family owned, full time, full service business specializing in farm land, commercial and residential real estate, farm and construction equipment, estates and antiques. Trent and his wife Paula are the owners of the business, along with the professional staff manage all of the day to day operations. Trent is a 3rd generation auctioneer, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business Management from Illinois State University. At many sales you will see Trent’s father Richard D. Schmid, who has been in the auction business since 1969, running the second auction ring, and Trent’s teenage daughter, and someday 4th generation auctioneer, helping out in any way she can.
